DEBUT entry into dubai 24hr confirmed for duel racing with tf sport

Sam De Haan kicks off his 2022 season with confirmation of his debut into the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai, competing as part of the Duel Racing with TF Sport entry. Sam will share driving duties of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 with his TF Sport teammate from earlier this year, Charlie Eastwood, alongside brothers Ramzi, Nabil and Sami Moutran.

Sam took victory with TF Sport on his first event with the British team at the Red Bull Ring, and now he and the team both head to the twice-around-the-clock 24H event in Dubai for the first time looking to continue this strong pairing. With notable 24-hour victories at both Le Mans and Spa, the team joins forces with Creventic regulars Duel Racing to create an extremely strong and hugely capable entry, while the quartet of Eastwood and the Moutran brothers bring race-winning experience of the event having taken class victory together in 2019. Underlining further experience and success in the championship, the striking ‘night and day’ livery of the GT3 Pro-Am entry is inspired by Duel Racing’s 24H Series-winning design from 2015.

Commenting on the news of his 24 Hours of Dubai debut, Sam explained:
I’m super happy to be back racing with TF Sport alongside Charlie in the Vantage again. It is also great to be joining up with the Duel Racing team and the Moutran brothers, who have an impressive track record in the region. It’s a strong combination of proven race winners, hugely experienced in endurance events, the 24H Series and racing with Aston Martin. 2022 will be a new challenge for me, but I am really looking forward to it, and really hoping to hit the ground running and get the new season off to a strong start.”
Tom Ferrier, TF Sport team owner, added:
“It’s great to team up with the Moutrans and have Charlie and Sam in the mix too! Ramzi, Nabil and Sami have a superb record at the 24H Series events, Sam and Charlie stepped on the podium with us in 2021 and we know our way around a 24-hour race in the Vantage GT3 so, all together, we are looking for a very strong result to kick-start our 2022 season.”

The 2022 Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai takes place 14-15 January, marking the start of another busy season of racing for Sam. Now entering his fifth season of GT competition, he has shown impressive form to-date, claiming the British GT Pro-Am championship title and multiple podium finishes across Europe. Most recently, he joined TF Sport and secured an impressive race victory at the Red Bull Ring on his first outing with the Aston Martin Vantage GT3.
